He also overlooks Amelie (despite seeing how distressed she is at not knowing where Félix is) and Lila.īoth narrow-minded, both he and Félix acted upon the wishes they wished, as both were so preoccupied with their own feelings that they particularly forgot or cared about anyone else caught in the crossfire. She later forbids Adrien from even mentioning her. Gabriel forbids Adrien from bringing Marinette to the Diamonds’ Dance or even mentioning it to her because he wants him and Kagami to be the prom king and queen. The episode also showed that people ignore others’ emotions: They are very relieved to see that he is safe. It was true what she said, “Victory isn’t always what you think.” As she knew, she couldn’t win against Félix physically, but she won against him emotionally.Īmelie expresses her frustration and anger towards Gabriel for the way he pushed her away and even ignored her desperation to find her son.īoth Adrien and Kagami (especially the latter who witnessed this firsthand) become very angry at Argos for destroying everyone they care about.Īfter Argos brings everyone back, except for Marinette (through their perspective), they are both very concerned for her safety. His sense of freedom also has corrupted emotions and he learned from Kagami and Adrien’s perspective that freedom isn’t just about doing what you want, it’s also about sharing with those you love and taking responsibility for your actions. In addition to the power of amokization, this episode showed how the characters openly express their emotions and how those emotions drive their actions:įélix expresses his anger and towards anyone he perceives as an oppressor, emotions that lead his actions to get rid of everyone except those he cares about and/or sympathizes with.
